　Application and Properties
Solvent Green 3 is insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents such as chloroform, benzene, xylene and dimethylformamide. It is blue in concentrated sulfuric acid and has a blue-green precipitate after dilution.
Solvent Green 3 is mainly used for coloring of polystyrene, ABS resin and rigid polyvinyl chloride, and for coloring polyester pulp. Also widely used in the coloration of petroleum products and paint.
