HOUSTON -- Houstons Jarred Cosart had a tough start Saturday against the Chicago White Sox. He still managed to hang in the game for five innings and help the Astros to a 6-5 win. Jason Castro hit a three-run homer and Dexter Fowler homered and drove in two runs in the victory. Castros home run came in Houstons four-run first inning. The White Sox scored two in the second and one in the third to cut the lead to one before Fowlers solo shot in the fifth inning. His RBI single in the seventh inning pushed the lead to 6-3. Cosart (3-3) allowed seven hits, three runs and tied a season-high by walking four. Houston manager Bo Porter was impressed with how Cosart handled adversity on Saturday. "I think thats good for his maturation," Porter said. Cosart said he had trouble gripping the ball after the first inning and was relieved he was able to pitch as long as he did. "Its our job just to try to keep the team in the game for as many innings as we can," he said. "Tonight I didnt have the sixth, seventh or eighth like I want. But just to get through that fifth was huge and for Bo to have confidence to leave me out there for that last batter was big." Kyle Farnsworth had a tough debut with the Astros after being signed Saturday. Alejandro De Aza and Gordon Beckham each had an RBI off of the veteran reliever in the eighth inning to cut the lead to 6-5. He was replaced by Darin Downs with two outs. Downs retired Conor Gillaspie to end the inning and Chad Qualls pitched a perfect ninth for his third save. Chicagos Hector Noesi (0-4) gave up eight hits and six runs -- five earned -- in six innings to remain winless in four starts and 10 appearances this season. Alexei Ramirez had two hits and an RBI, and rookie Jose Abreu drove in his AL-leading 42nd RBI with a sacrifice in the third. Abreu played designated hitter for the second straight game to rest his sore left ankle. He is 0 for 7 in this series and was replaced by pinch hitter Paul Konerko with one out in the seventh inning. Manager Robin Ventura said he took him out because he thought he looked "awkward" on his last swing and that he didnt expect him to play on Sunday. "Its like he takes a couple steps forward, and then he takes a step back, so we took him out, and we will re-evaluate him after (Saturday)," Ventura said. "It just looked like he might do something else that would injure something else, so we took him out as a precaution right now." Fowler finished with three hits and rookie George Springer had two hits, including his first career triple, and an RBI. Jose Altuve hit a leadoff single before Springers hit sailed just over the head of centre fielder De Aza for a triple to put Houston up 1-0. Fowler walked before Castros sixth home run this season pushed the lead to 4-0. There were runners at second and third with two outs in the inning when right fielder Moises Sierra robbed Marwin Gonzalez of a hit and likely saved a couple of runs with a nifty diving catch. Noesi settled down after the first inning and allowed just two hits -- both singles -- over the next three innings before Fowlers homer with no outs in the fifth. Adam Dunn walked to start the second inning and later scored on a sacrifice fly by Ramirez to get Chicago within 4-1. Cosart issued consecutive walks after that to load the bases. A sacrifice fly by Sierra made it 4-2, but De Aza was out at third on the play to end the inning. Beckham doubled with no outs in the third, took second on a groundout and scored on a groundout by Abreu to cut the lead to 4-3. Fowlers opposite field shot to the Crawford Boxes in left field to start Houstons fifth inning extended the lead to 5-3. NOTES: The series wraps up Sunday when Houstons Brad Peacock looks for his first win when he faces left-hander John Danks. ... Chicago LHP Chris Sale, who has been on the disabled list since April 22 with a left flexor strain, allowed one hit and struck out 11 in four innings in his first rehabilitation start in Triple-A on Friday night. Ventura isnt sure when hell be ready to rejoin the team. 76ers Jerseys 2019 . PAUL, Minn. Wholesale 76ers Jerseys . How many times did that happen in PL history? @ChelseaHeroTomaMARTIN SAYS: According to our friends at Opta, Chelsea are actually the first team to achieve this quirky feat in the Premier League era.The run started with a 3-0 win over Leicester at Stamford Bridge, with Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and Victor Moses on the scoresheet. Watch highlights of Middlesbrough 0 - 1 Chelsea They then beat Manchester United 4-0, Southampton 2-0 and Everton 5-0, before Costas winner secured a 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough on Nissan Super Sunday. They face Spurs next at Stamford Bridge. A goalless draw or a 6-0 win keeps this stat alive!Leaving it lateTottenham always seem to score last-minute goals against West Ham. Has any team scored more against another PL team? CraigMARTIN SAYS: According to Opta, Harry Kanes late penalty against West Ham was Tottenhams sixth goal scored in the 90th minute or later against West Ham in the Premier League - their most against any single Premier League team.Kane (February 2015), Eric Dier (August 2014), Gareth Bale (February 2013), Jamie OHara (December 2008) and Darren Bent (May 2008) have also scored in the last minute for Spurs against West Ham.For Hammers fans it may feel like an all-too-often occurrence against their London rivals, but Tottenham themselves have a tormentor with an even great appetite for late goals. Watch highlights of Tottenham 3-2 West Ham They have conceded 10 times in the final minute or later against Chelsea, the joint highest number of goals in Premier League history.Food for thought for Mauricio Pochettino as he prepares his side to face the Blues at Stamford Bridge this weekend.Youll notice I said joint highest, though. Chelsea share top spot with Arsenal, who have also scored 10 goals from the 90th minute onwards against Aston Villa. Most 90th-minute goals in the Premier League v same opponent:Arssenal v Aston Villa (10 times)Chelsea v Tottenham (10 times)Arsenal v Leicester (9 times)Chelsea v Wigan (9 times)Liverpool v Arsenal (9 times)Staying the sameWhich PL team has gone the longest period of time without naming an unchanged line-up? Andrew FMARTIN SAYS: Chelsea and West Brom were the only teams to name an unchanged side last weekend.dddddddddddd In fact, Antonio Conte has named the same starting XI for the last five matches. Most managers prefer to rotate, though, none more so than Jurgen Klopp.Liverpool have gone 40 matches without naming an unchanged line-up - more than double any other Premier League team.Klopp has only picked the same Liverpool line-up once, when the XI that started his first match in charge - a 0-0 draw at Tottenham - started again against Southampton a week later on October 25. Watch highlights of Southampton 0-0 Liverpool The Reds drew that game too before Klopp made one change for the trip to Stamford Bridge, bringing in Roberto Firmino for Divock Origi. A lot of those were due to injuries and the number of games they had last season. Klopp does have some continuity.Liverpool won the match 3-1 and since then the German has not looked back, making at least one alteration to his line-up every Premier League match-day, including against Southampton on Saturday.Five other teams have changed their line-up in every match this season. West Ham and Tottenham last named an unchanged line-up last April (15 league games ago). Sunderland last named an unchanged line-up in May (13 league games ago), as did Middlesbrough (12 league games) and Manchester City (12 league games).Wait for a braceHow long was the gap between Victor Anichebes Premier League braces and is it a record? MarshieMARTIN SAYS: Before his double for Sunderland against Hull, almost 10 years had passed since Victor Anchibes last Premier League brace. When Anchibe smashed home his second at the Stadium of Light on Saturday, he ended a 3,612 day wait since his last Premier League double. That came in December 2006 against Newcastle at Goodison Park as Anchibe scored twice in a 3-0 victory for Everton. Watch highlights of Sunderland 3-0 Hull But remarkably, Anchibes is not the longest gap between Premier League doubles. The record belongs to Damien Duff, who bagged two for Blackburn against West Ham in December 1997 and then, 4,823 days later, struck twice for Fulham in 2011”against Blackburn! Thats a 14-year wait! While were here, you might like to know the longest break between two Premier League hat-tricks is 2,243 days. Jermain Defoe hit five for Tottenham against Wigan in November 2009, then scored a treble versus Swansea in January this year.Low for LeicesterLeicester are down in 14th. Is this the lowest a Premier League champion has been the season after they won the title? Jordan HMARTIN SAYS: Leicester have actually been lower than this earlier in the season. After one game they were 17th in the table, which is the joint lowest a defending champion has ever been in the Premier League.Blackburn dropped as low as 17th in the 1995/96 season and Leeds were 17th at the end of a day in the 1992/93 season - although the Premier League had 22 teams back then and for the record they were champions of the old Football League, not the Premier League. Watch highlights of Watford 2-1 Leicester Chelsea dropped to 16th last season, while Manchester United were also 16th early in the 2007/08 season (this data is based on the END of a day of fixtures).Leicester are currently two points above the relegation zone. No champion side has ever been as low as 18th in the Premier League era and we have never seen one in the relegation zone.Upgrade to Sky Sports now and get 12 months half price.
