Product introduction:

The high-alumina axe brick is a vertical thick wedge-shaped brick, named for its shape resembling an axe. That is, an aluminum silicate refractory with an alumina content of more than 48%. It is formed and calcined from bauxite or other raw materials with high alumina content. High thermal stability, refractoriness above 1770℃. Good slag resistance.

Product Specifications:

High alumina axe brick T-19/T-20 is a widely used refractory brick. The size of T-19 is: 230*114*65/55mm, and the size of T-20 is: 230*114*65/45mm. Various sizes of high alumina bricks can be customized according to the drawings.

Product Features:

The refractoriness of high-alumina bricks is higher than that of clay bricks and semi-silica bricks, reaching 1750~1790℃. The softening temperature under load is because of high Al2O3 in high-alumina products, less impurities, and less fusible glass body, so the load The softening temperature is higher than that of clay bricks, but because the mullite crystal does not form a network structure, the softening temperature under load is still not as high as that of silica bricks; the slag-resistant high-alumina bricks contain more Al2O3, which is close to neutral refractories and can resist acid. Due to the corrosion of slag and alkaline slag, the ability to resist alkaline slag is weaker than that of acid slag due to the presence of SiO2.

High alumina axe bricks are mainly used in thermal boilers, glass kilns, cement kilns, fertilizer gas making furnaces, blast furnaces, hot blast stoves, coking furnaces, electric furnaces, casting and steel casting bricks, etc.
