Handheld partial discharge tester is a detection device for diagnosing power line faults and hidden troubles by collecting abnormal ultrasonic signal in power lines and then through software analysis. It can judge hidden fault position and fault type without power cut. The device collect abnormal ultrasonic signal by ultrasonic detector (ultrasonic sensor) , then transmit the signals to the host, diagnose the fault and hidden trouble type and severity level, and convert to audible sound signal and the output waveform.
